The theme of this week is (All About Me/ My Family English (Which Room)). I read the story book that I have been created which called (WHERE DID EVERYONE GO?).
The children were very active and interactive with me because I read the story for them from the computer and I did many actions while I was reading it.
In the focus activity, I provided a big card which has the names of each part of the house and pictures of these parts. The children matched these pictures with their names on the big card.

General Comments:
The children in this lesson might be able to learn some new vocabulary like living room, dining room, kitchen, swimming pool, front yard and the back yard. However, some of them will find these word difficult, so I will encourage them by bringing their real knowledge and life into the classroom.
They will be able to share their knowledge and talk to each other about their ideas and answers during the focus activity.

It seems really good. I may use your story in my next lessons..
ReplyDeletekeep it up =)
Hello Reem,
ReplyDeleteGood idea of reading the story from the computer, I think you did a good job this lesson.
Actually I think you are so lucky to have all these technology in your school to use it because the children are more likely to be focused and understandable when you have it.
Because of your lesson I think I got a clear understanding about what I might do tomorrow with my lesson. (You did inspire my brain hhh)
Wish you the best =)
Your use of photos and clear description really bring to live your lesson, the class and the students. Try to evaluate your lessons in terms of students learning, in addition to clearly describing what happened.
ReplyDeleteI think you did a good lesson with clear lesson plan and with some pictures that will be an evidence for your e-portfolio.
ReplyDeleteMe too, I liked your description of the lessons and the pictures.
