In this lesson, I played a game with the whole group of children which is putting the objects that start with the letter C and sound /k/ in a box. For instance, carrot, cow, cat, caterpillar and camel. The children where very active while they were playing this game and they were helping each other to name the object and all of them tried to engage with me. They were so enthusiastic to know what is in the box.

For this lesson if you want to use TPR in the whole I have a suggestion for you, what about taking pictures of those materials and put them in the box and have those realia around the class, divide the class into two groups like the right side and left side and then ask one to come and have a picture, what ever the picture is the child while have 30 sec to look around and other 30 sec to run and touch it then come back to have a point for his/ her group. (outdoor better with the whole class of your class get tired from the carpet and they are not listening like before ).
ReplyDeleteI liked when you were simple at the beginning… keep going =)
