In this lesson, I introduce the letter K for the children and I played a game with the whole group of children. The game was to provide the letter K printable flash cards and with picture of objects that start with the letter behind each letter card and I placed them around the classroom. I let the children to search for the letter and then each of the children kept the card with him/her until they got all the cards. After that, I asked each of them to name the picture that he/ she got.

What was the vocabulary you used in practicing 'k'? It sounds an active lesson and you describe it nicely. But don't forget to critique and reflect on it and, if necessary, offer possible solutions.
ReplyDeleteThe vocabulary that I used are king, kite, kangaroo, kandora and Kanjar.
DeleteI liked the searching game because in my experience it really helped the students to get the information and remember it later when they need it.
ReplyDeleteI also liked the chance s that you provided it for the children to discover the colors, chose and color in their own creative way.
I like the letter hunt or searching game because I used it in my previous experience and it worked well and the students enjoyed it so I think your students enjoyed as well.
